pre-seminary
studies
program focuses on guiding the youth out there to handle their own

There

Seminary Program
- Before getting admitted to the program, it is advisable to talk to the director to know the exact requirements which may vary a bit from program to program
- Usually, the completion of general education is expected which is generally done in the course of two years of attendance
- Along with the general education requirement, there are some additional requirements
- The candidate should have knowledge of the 3 units of the core philosophy.
- 4 units of both Ancient Greek I and Ancient Greek II is required.
- Along with Greek, intermediate classical Hebrew I and II should be known by the candidates.
- He should have learned about Christians and Ethics through the 3 units.
- There are further requirements which are recommended to the respective candidates:
- Aramaic should be studied, i.e. ARA 301.
- The candidate should be knowledgeable about the Parish Program Leadership, Family Ministry and Adult Education in Parish through CED 487, 488 and 489.
- Reading in Luke and Acts, Johannine Literature and Pauline Literature should be studied by the student.
- He should go through the three units of readings in the Hebrew bible.
- The philosophical ethics should be studied too throughout the 3 units.
- The principle of counseling should also be studied by interested people.
- Christian Witness and Evangelism and Christian Apologetics should be known by the candidates too.
- The very important requirement is to discuss the annual status of the individual with the director to ensure the growth of personality in a spiritual and correct direction
This
can be seen that certain knowledge of Hebrew and Greek is mentioned
as mandatory for enrollment in the course. The other requirements can
vary from institution to institution.
